View this post on Instagram Last day of school! . Thank you to everyone who has touched the past four years of my Chinese medicine “med school” journey! This adventure took me down the east coast by train, criss crossing the country by car, bus, train, plane, and thumb, two years in Oregon, down the west coast by car, back to China and Taiwan, then right back to my hometown with these two characters who gave me life. Two years in California and now, more to come. . I missed both my undergrad and grad school graduation ceremonies. I was photographing volcanoes and fire-dancers in Hawaii during my undergrad ceremony, and teaching Five Element theory and botany in Wisconsin during my recent grad ceremony. This time, I borrowed the outfit and got dressed up, so that my parents could be proud, and share the photos with relatives. This is one of my favorites. It looks like I am only surrounded by parents, but am actually completely surrounded by all kinds of other beloved beauties (like you!). . Thank you. I’m grateful for the rivers I’ve (we’ve) walked through, the current waters I (we) inhabit, and the streams that continue flowing forth from here. . All love.
