sink down into the shadow

bask in the musky dark

wriggling and twisting

of screaming sunlight

streaming out

wings emerging

death of an old known 

birth of a new unknown known 

dear universe of gay great illuminitably everything 

nothing 

mountains that rise and sink with the rise and fall of my belly and chest

each in and out breath

cells dancing 

atoms imploding exploding exploring dances

dreaming within dreams of dreams dreamed

dreamer, who? 

dear birds drifting on drafts rising from ancient chasms

soaring cliffs steeply dropping down

roaring waterfalls caressing endless sunsets and moonrises

world of great magic beauty 

dear small still silent cocoons hanging old and dry on dead branches

we're more than halfway through the auspicious year of the dragon,
that highly prophesized-about year 2012

time to embrace that dragon energy and spit some fire

laughter moon

round moon

we admire each other 

she, seemingly free in the sky

yet tied to the gravitational pull of the earth 

i, seemingly free here in shanghai 

yet tied to the endless samsara cycle of karmic patterns 

moon cycles are part of natural phenomena 

she must not go, "i want to end this pattern!" 

i seek to liberate from my cyclical patterns 

with a desire for "freedom" 

what is THAT really?
